About the Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Vision Engineer with strong expertise in classical and deep learning-based computer vision to build and deploy real-world perception pipelines.
In this role, you will design, optimize and integrate vision algorithms for robotics, autonomous platforms, UAVs and edge environments. You will bridge AI research and real-time execution – translating complex perception models into robust, production-ready systems on physical hardware.
Key Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development: Design, implement, and optimize vision algorithms for object detection, tracking, classification, position estimation and 3D perception.
- Robotics Integration: Develop perception pipelines for UAVs, autonomous agents, and robotic platforms, integrating them directly into robotics middleware (ROS2) and autonomy stacks.
- Edge Optimization & Deployment: Optimize vision models for low-latency inference on GPUs, embedded platforms and edge hardware using TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, CUDA, and OpenCV.
- Data & Benchmarking: Build synthetic data pipelines, manage dataset augmentation workflows, analyze model performance and solve complex edge-case failure modes.
- Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of state-of-the-art developments in vision transformers, multimodal AI, embodied AI and sim-to-real transfer to keep our perception stack cutting-edge.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, AI/ML, Computer Vision, or a related field.
- Experience: Practical experience (via industry roles, research, or complex projects) developing or deploying computer vision systems for robotics, UAVs or autonomous agents.
- Core Tech Stack:
- Languages: Production-level C++ (for real-time pipelines and hardware integration) and Python (for rapid prototyping and model training).
- Frameworks & Libraries: PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, CUDA, and ROS2.
- Inference & Acceleration: TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, OpenVINO, or DeepStream.
- Infrastructure: Working knowledge of Docker, Linux development environments, GPU optimization, and edge platforms like NVIDIA Jetson.
Bonus Points
- Experience with multi-sensor fusion (camera, LiDAR, radar, IMU/GPS).
- Experience with synthetic data generation or simulation environments.
- Open-source contributions or research publications in CV/Robotics/AI conferences.
