In May, we flew from Bristol to Berlin for GITEX Europe 2025, one of the biggest global tech events of the year, showcasing innovation across AI, cybersecurity, sustainability, IoT, and quantum technologies.
Unlike most, we didn’t go with a hard sales agenda. We really wanted to see what’s happening in the tech world, meet people in person, and have the kinds of conversations you can’t get through email or Teams.

It was such a great environment for networking with tech innovators and industry leaders and the atmosphere felt relaxed, open and natural. The conversations we had are already turning into new partnerships!
If we took anything away from the event, it’s that trips like this matter and are definitely still relevant in the recruitment world, which is getting more and more virtual. It’s easy to spend your days behind a screen in recruitment. Being there in person helps us stay connected to the global tech market, the emerging trends in AI and cybersecurity and most importantly, the people shaping the future.
